The grand wedding of The Accidental Husband star Devika Bhise and her lover Nicholas Gilson at The Leela Palace Udaipur was an amalgamation of their different cultures and the epitome of their movie-like romance. For their noteworthy festival, the inn culinary experts made a transcending white cake that they cut in the midst of firecrackers. The show-halting cake had three levels with every level embellished particularly. The primary level on the base had rose gold shaded Indian lotuses, while the center level had vertical red stripes on it. Likewise, the highest and last level was enhanced with small rose gold lotuses and a corner to corner line of minuscule hearts. Made by the Mumbai-based DCakeCreation, the superb white fondant cake had an abundance of embellishments and intricate detailing. Moreover hanging crystals on the cake stand elevated the entire look of the masterpiece. The highlight, however, was the custom-made cake toppers designed to look like the happy couple!

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar

Gauhar Khan and Zaid Darbar's wedding was a rich festival, crossing a few days, that was an outright treat for the eyes. Furthermore, one of the gems of their gathering was the superb, multi-tier wedding cake. A reflection of the couple's vivacious personalities, the cake was created by D Cake Creations. The six-tier confection was a mix of red and white, artfully decorated with gold accents. In line with the decor theme, the cake flaunted delicate rose petals and intricate metallic gold icing with a 'Mr & Mrs' sign in the fourth tier that was hollow in between. Situated on a bed of red roses, white lilies and wispy green filler's, the cake looked like an absolute gastronomic delight that genuinely matched the bride and groom's vibe!

From a 2-layered chocolate cake to a 6-layered stunning cake loaded with surfaces, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had not one yet three scrumptious cakes for their wedding celebrations.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding cake was downright enchanting, very much like the diva. It was a cake that epitomized the couple's funny and particular characters with the additional marvelousness and charm of their daily existence. Also, we realize that the couple had three wedding cakes, with one gracing their gathering festivity and two others for their later housewarming functions.

But the one that's in focus for us is their reception cake. Created by chef extraordinaire Pooja Dhingra, the towering 6-tiered cake was full of layers and textures where the colours merged and shined all at the same time. With every layer covered in buttercream, the artistic elements of the cake were the myriad of designs on each layer with one layer covered in silver glitter and another lined with light pink macaroons. Topping it off, the cake's topmost tiered was decorated with large purple flowers serving as toppers.

The subsequent cake was a 2-tier chocolate cake canvassed in bits of chocolate ganache and improved with marigold blossoms. Essentially, the third cake was a less difficult, muffled cake with palatable blossoms on top and a chocolate layer encasing it from the sides.

Bunty Mahajan, the patisserie gourmet specialist at the popular Deliciae Patisserie, planned the radiant and luxurious 5-tier engagement cake with a white and gold base. The cake was enhanced with gold accents and a column of lavish blossoms in pink and white, with the 'SA' initials of the couple monogrammed in the center level and a uniquely crafted cake clincher which had the couple's name on it.

The wedding of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra was the wedding of the century. The couple got hitched in a lavish and sensational wedding at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. The enormous wedding cake was an incredible 18 feet tall with 6 tiers, made by Nick's chef. The extravagant cake was covered in ivory fondant with gold accents, each designed like a palatial column of a Victorian castle. The cake was truly exuberant and quite fitting for their royal affair!
